Job Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Power Systems Projects and Technical Support Department (P&TSD). This department is one of five within Aramco’s power systems division, dedicated to delivering top-tier power engineering services to both internal and external clients through skilled personnel and advanced technologies.
In this role, you will lead the execution of capital projects, ensuring that all aspects of engineering design, procurement, construction, and project completion meet the project objectives and contractual obligations. This includes adherence to schedules, budgets, health and safety standards, and company procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Leading and recommending continuous improvement initiatives for installations or modifications to enhance existing facilities and promote standardization within specific areas. Prepare cost estimates, justifications, and expenditure requests as needed.
- Creating plans and schedules, providing guidance on the preparation of designs, processes, reports, correspondence, and related documentation, ensuring solutions are efficient, adequate, and aligned with overall engineering objectives.
- Defining the scope and specifications of technology items and overseeing the implementation and operation of developed solutions in the field.
- Proactively identifying potential issues affecting cost, schedule, safety, or quality, and developing and implementing solutions to address them, ensuring timely resolution throughout all project phases.
- Reviewing the work of junior engineers and providing direction as required.
- Negotiating agreements, contracts, and change orders with design and execution contractors.
- Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed during project execution.
- Being well-acquainted with company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and taking proactive measures to ensure these targets are met.
- Monitoring project progress through weekly and monthly reports on contracts, costs, and schedules. Participate in project meetings, including progress reviews, stakeholder meetings, design reviews, and value improvement sessions.
Minimum Requirements
