Key objective
The role is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of warehouse and distribution center operations within the network, ensuring high service levels, low costs, and top-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols, sustainability goals, and continuous improvement initiatives. This includes managing all interactions and product movements between the network and relevant sites. The primary focus is on optimizing the logistics network within KSA (factory warehouses, external warehouses, and remote locations) to minimize factory fixed overheads and distribution costs.
Responsibilities
Monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards
As a Warehouse Manager in Saudi Arabia, ensure that all Nestlé health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to daily in both factory warehouses and external warehouses. This includes tracking incidents and implementing improvement plans for compliance.
Performance and KPI Improvement
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of warehouse operations strategies to lower costs, including labor expenses, and enhance quality control procedures.
- Review warehouse operations throughout the work process, performing daily checks to ensure proper storage and safety of all products.
- Analyze workflows in raw material, packaging, and finished goods warehouses, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, to optimize resource utilization.
- Address day-to-day operational issues as they arise.
- Motivate the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Logistics Operations Management
Take responsibility for overseeing logistics operations across warehouses, factories, and distribution centers. Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Support Value Stream Design

Efficient Material Handling
Ensure that raw materials, packaging, and finished goods are easily accessible and efficiently transported from storage locations to production areas as needed.
Team Development
Foster team growth by aligning staff with business objectives and strategies, addressing competency gaps to meet operational requirements in all areas.
Key Experience
At least 5 years of relevant operational experience at the market or business level in one or more of the following areas:
- Warehouse Management
- Transportation
- Control and movement of Raw and Packaging Materials
- Physical Logistics Projects
- SAP system experience
Additional operational experience at the market/business level in the following areas is a plus:
- Import/Export operations
- Demand & Supply Planning
- Transportation
- Technical expertise
- Finance: Business Planning, Budget Control, Cost Management, OPEX
Experience managing key projects such as:
- Distribution Network Redesign and Optimization
- High-Performance Logistics
- Cost Reduction and OPEX Savings
Experience with implementing NCE-Goal alignment concepts and tools is highly desirable.
