The Sales Engineer for Media Solutions plays a key role in pre-sales support throughout the entire sales process — from initial discovery and opportunity assessment to pilots, demonstrations, and final deal closure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate solution design efforts by working closely with the Sales team, Product team, and external solution partners to ensure all proposed solutions are accurate, practical, and achievable.
- Support client needs by running Proof of Concept (POC) evaluations and building strong, trust-based relationships with partners.
- Collaborate with internal B2B sales groups — including Pre-Sales, Direct Sales, and Channel teams — to stay aligned with overall sales objectives and strategies.
- Deliver technical presentations, product trainings, demos, and in-depth sessions that highlight product capabilities and features.
- Represent the company at industry events such as trade shows and partner recruitment or training sessions.
- Maintain an expert-level understanding of all B2B products, technologies, and service offerings relevant to the sales engineer job.
- Travel regularly to customer sites, partner offices, remote locations, and industry events as required.
- Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of experience relevant to a sales engineer job.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and work with technical documents, engineering materials, and complex product information.
- Skilled in preparing and delivering professional business presentations—written, emailed, reported, or spoken—including those involving advanced technical or business concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confident presentation abilities suitable for large audiences.
- Proven capability to engage with stakeholders at all levels within partner and customer organizations.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with sales teams and contributing value to the broader sales process in a sales engineer job environment.
- Ability to take on diverse tasks or challenges, applying creativity and problem-solving skills when only general guidelines are available.
- Capable of making quick, informed decisions by drawing on prior experience, alternative approaches, and insights from successful practices.
